As a Legacy Systems Developer, you will maintain and modernize critical COBOL applications running on IBM mainframes. You will ensure the continued stability of core business logic while implementing strategies to transition legacy systems into contemporary technological environments.

What You'll Do

- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex mainframe applications using COBOL and CICS.
- Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval using DB2 and VSAM file structures.
- Create and troubleshoot JCL scripts to automate batch and online processing workflows.
- Perform deep-dive analysis of existing codebases to identify refactoring and modernization opportunities.
- Support production systems through rigorous debugging, performance tuning, and technical documentation.




- Collaborate on migration projects to transition legacy workloads toward modern architectures.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on mainframe systems.
- Proven expertise in maintaining and modernizing COBOL applications on IBM mainframes.
- Proficiency in core mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Hands-on experience with both batch and online transaction processing.
- Demonstrated ability to support legacy system integration and migration initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
