The Licensing Analyst will be responsible for supporting and managing the development and approval process of licensed products, coordinating with Design, Merch, and licensors to ensure that products meet brand guidelines and that all approvals are obtained accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on the development and approval process for licensed products, from initial concept through final approval.
- Review product and design proposals before submitting them to licensors for approval.
- Prepare and organize materials required for licensing submissions.
- Upload and manage product and design submissions through licensors’ approval platforms.
- Monitor the status of submissions and maintain accurate and up-to-date approval trackers.
- Follow up on comments, rejections, reworks, and revisions requested by licensors.
- Ensure that designs comply with brand guidelines, style guides, and specific requirements established by each licensor.
- Review artwork, product specifications, colors, branding applications, and other visual elements prior to submission.
- Maintain accurate records of deadlines, approvals, revisions, product versions, and related documentation.
- Identify potential delays or issues in the approval process and proactively communicate risks to the relevant teams.
- Manage multiple licenses, products, and projects simultaneously.
- Keep files, folders, trackers,
and databases related to licensed products organized and up to date.
- Support the Licensing team with progress reports, pending items, approval status, and other project-related information.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in licensing, product development, design, fashion, retail, consumer products, or a related field.
- Experience working with project coordination, approval processes, and deadlines.
- Previous experience working with licensed products is a plus.
*Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Ability to review and understand design files and artwork.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for tracking projects, deadlines, and approvals.
- Experience using licensing approval platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of product development processes.

- Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in designs and documentation.

- Advanced English proficiency, particularly written English, for communication with international licensors.
