Position: Manufacturing Engineer

Responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for automotive production in a Tier 1 environment. Ensures production efficiency, quality, safety, and cost targets are achieved through process improvement, equipment implementation, root cause analysis, and support for new product launches. Works closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with customer and industry standards. JOB SUMMARY

· This position reports to a Shanghai Manager

· Automotive industry expertise it´s a must for this position.

· It’s difficult to access to the Plant- for this reason it´s important that the candidate must have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.

Application of lean and continuous improvement tools

Good stress resistance, communication, problem solving, customer service, quick fast response Experience minimum 5 years in automotive industry (must) as a Manufacturing Engineer:

Optimize the process flow, layout, define the best head counter and cycle time, continuously study the cycle time and improve it.

Be responsible for process documents: flow chart, PFMEA, capacity chart, working instructions, layout…

Train the operators, identify the illegal operation and correct it, to make sure the process is under control.

Be responsible for the stable production process, collecting the process data and studying, to make continuous improvement to decrease the manufacturing cost.

Take part in updating specification of equipment and tooling, be participated with the souring procedure, be responsible for the equipment debugging, acceptance…

Be responsible for MBOM, lead the setup of trace system.

Keep the same step with the latest and advanced technology and transform the technology into actual process.

Be responsible for continuous improvement with production team, for instance: improve the equipment, process, fixture, layout…

Monitor Engineering Change. Be responsible for manufacturing change from ECP and try to decrease change cost.

Support AME for advanced process technology and general process standardization

Complete other tasks arranged by manager.
