A Day in the Life
• Manufacturing Engineer responsible for sustaining activities, continuous improvement, and follow-up on process issues, as well as the implementation of process enhancements and document changes.
- Provide technical support and sustaining expertise for the POBA and EUPHORA catheter areas.
- Knowledge of equipment setup and adjustments for CO2 laser, laser marking, and luer printing processes.
- Lead A3 problem-solving activities and support cost-saving project implementations.
- Drive process improvements through fixture design and implementation.
- SAP user with responsibility for NCMR review and approval.
- TrackWise user.
- AGILE MAP user with experience in the modification, implementation, and improvement of procedures, IQs, and DHRs.
- Support and lead additional process improvement initiatives within the catheter manufacturing area.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of catheter manufacturing processes, specifically POBA and EUPHORA product lines
- Experience with CO₂ laser setup and adjustments, laser marking, and luer printing processes.
- Experience designing fixtures and manufacturing aids for process improvements.
- SAP experience,
including NCMR review and approval.
- TrackWise experience.
- AGILE MAP experience for procedure modifications, IQ updates, and DHR improvements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for manufacturing line layouts, facility layouts, and production line modifications.
- Experience supporting cleanroom modifications and associated risk assessments.
- Experience creating and maintaining OEE dashboards.
