Mobile Performance Engineer (Android) at BairesDev

As a Mobile Performance Engineer (Android), you will optimize the responsiveness and efficiency of our flagship application by identifying and resolving bottlenecks across the mobile stack. You will ensure a high-quality user experience by focusing on rendering performance, memory management, and power consumption.

What You'll Do

- Utilize Android profiling tools to diagnose and resolve issues related to rendering jank and startup time.
- Analyze and optimize memory usage to prevent leaks and ensure long-term application stability.
- Implement strategies to reduce battery drain and improve energy efficiency across different device types.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into application behavior and framework layers to enhance system reliability.




- Collaborate with development teams to review architectural decisions and provide data-driven performance insights.
- Design and integrate automated performance monitoring tests into CI/CD pipelines to prevent regressions.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in Mobile Performance Engineering, Android Development, or Software Engineering.
- Proven expertise in optimizing Android application performance, including rendering jank and startup time.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving memory leaks and battery drain issues.
- Hands-on experience with Android profiling tools such as Android Profiler and Systrace.
- Strong background in Kotlin and Android systems internals.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
