**General Summary**
The logistics clerk will be responsible for the data update and coordination of all local and cross border transportation operations for the Chihuahua, Texas and New Mexico border.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
The role focuses on supporting the Traffic Supervisor and transportation coordinators to ensure the safe execution of all transportation.
- Maintains records up to date on all local transportation activity
- Ensures compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies, and government regulations
- Ensures that customer difficulties or problems are investigated and resolved
- Works with Plants and Operations stakeholders to ensure equipment is available in a timely manner.
- Ensures timely review of invoices in workflow and attests those charges are correct in line with current rates, quotations for services rendered
- Maintain data of Carriers Performance (KPI’s) to secure sustainability of the operation and business results
- Works across the facilities to support where required
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- This position/function must be responsible to understand and follow the Environment, Health and Safety Management System, its Policy, the standard and applicable procedures
**SKILLS REQUIRED**




Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Transportation, Logistics, Warehouse, or Supply Chain professional experience
- Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods local and cross border.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of cross-border transportation market conditions and regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong logístical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Transportation related software
