**Engineering Manager**

A vital source of technical expertise, you’ll lead the team that keeps our operations up and running. You'll be responsible for inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies, directing crews or workers on site, conducting research, and reporting on project status. You'llmake sure that everything works smoothly and engineering designs are being followed. You'll ensure that we comply with the guidelines of the Quality, Safety, Health and Environment Policy, committed to satisfy the requirements of our customers and consumers by delivering high quality products, taking care of our impact on the environment, preventing injuries and deterioration of the health of our employees and visitors, complying with legal and other requirements applicable to our operation, as well as to continually improve our systems processes. In this role, you'll ensure that all projects run smoothly, from installing equipment and new technologies to directing crews on site. They will also conduct their own research on their projects to keep their teams updated. Managing operations, overseeing repairs and maintenance work on-site or in the field, as well as generating reports for higher-ups. They may also be called upon to troubleshoot equipment problems. You’ll:
- Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues.
- Conduct research and studies on site/ manage field activities and implement engineering designs
- Diagnose construction or machinery problems and resolve malfunctions or other crises.
- Oversee repairs and technical improvements/ Inspect and test material and machinery for safety
- Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment




- Develop and drive creative and agile strategies across all Manufacturing Standards (Management Systems, 5S & Visual Workplace, Autonomous Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Productivity, Continuous Improvement, Production Planning, People Capability, and Engineering Documentation).
- Partner with the Factory Leadership Teams in the development of the site Strategic Plan and to ensure KPI performance is monitored and communicated.
- Ensure activities are aligned with the site’s Capacity Growth Plan, Engineering Master Plan, Operational Strategy, Labor and People Strategy, and Communication Strategies.
- Ensure that a governance process is in place to review data in the operating databases to ensure that it is reflective of vigente operations.
- Partner with the site Quality Manager and develop a site-wide approach to ensure that current standard procedures are available for line operations, changeovers, and inspections within the factory.
- Partner with the site EHS Manager and Quality Manager to ensure that Site Visual Workplace Plan includes EHS and Quality expectations.
- Partner with the Operations Manager to drive operational performance
- Establish a system to review Standard Daily Meeting Metrics periodically to ensure continuous improvement (Site Governance).
- Develop and implement a strategy to train,



implement and progress under the basis of Reckitt Management system (TPM, Lean, Six sigma).
- Partner with Maintenance to further develop the Planned Maintenance program. Such as: revision of activities
**You’ll succeed because**
there’s pretty much nothing you don’t know about bulk processing, packaging or volume manufacturing. You:
- Have a broad engineering background, ideally in a regulated environment
- 8+ years of Manufacturing experience
- Experience leveraging Lean Manufacturing Principles (Lean Six Sigma)
- Engineering Project Management experience is highly preferred
- Maintenance background highly preferred
- Greenfield proven experience highly preferred
- Are a team builder. Able to motivate and develop a team where initiative, collaboration and respect are key
- Can implement control systems and continuous improvement processes
