Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-driven Paralegal to provide substantive legal support to their attorneys. This role goes beyond administrative work — the idóneo candidate has hands-on experience with legal research, document drafting, and case preparation, and is comfortable working independently under attorney supervision. The Paralegal will support case management from intake through resolution, helping attorneys prepare for hearings, trials, and negotiations by ensuring every document and piece of evidence is organized, accurate, and ready.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis to support case strategy.

Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, discovery requests, pleadings, and correspondence, for attorney review.

Organize, review, and summarize case files, exhibits, and evidence.

Assist with discovery, including managing document production and reviewing incoming discovery materials.

Prepare case chronologies, timelines, and trial preparation materials.





Track court deadlines, filing requirements, and procedural rules to ensure full compliance.

Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel regarding case status and documentation needs.

Maintain case management systems, ensuring all case data and documents are accurately logged and up to date.

Support attorneys during depositions and hearings with real-time document and note support as needed. Requirements

Proven working experience as a Paralegal.

Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, and court rules and procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software (Clio, MyCase, Filevine, or similar).

Paralegal certificate, associate's degree, or relevant legal education.

Strong writing and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple deadlines.

Strong English proficiency (written and verbal).

Ethical judgment and strict respect for client confidentiality.

Preferred

Qualifications

Experience in a specific practice area (litigation, personal injury, immigration, corporate, or family law).

Certified Paralegal designation (NALA, NFPA, or equivalent).

Prior experience supporting U.S.-based law firms remotely.

Bilingual English/Spanish.
