Role purpose

Analyze, standardize and validate production cycles and work order logic across stamping, welding and assembly lines, ensuring cycle times, routings and SAP work order parameters are accurate, evidence-based and system-ready. Key responsibilities:

- Observe current line practice on stamping, welding and assembly stations to capture real operating conditions.
- Define standard production cycles per product/line, including operations, standard times, resources, dependencies and quality control checkpoints.
- Validate cycle times with shopfloor teams through direct time studies and cross-checks against existing standards.
- Identify and correct discrepancies between presente practice and documented/SAP routings.
- Prepare and support the insertion/update of SAP routings and work order parameters, ensuring full traceability of changes.
- Build a structured cycle pack (by product/line) as a system-ready deliverable.
- Support handover to the process owner, including training and open-action tracking.
- Contribute to readiness gates (layout freeze, installation readiness, commissioning plan, trial run, ramp-up handover) from a production-cycle perspective. Requirements:




- Proven hands-on experience in production engineering / industrial engineering in a manufacturing environment (metal stamping, welding, and/or assembly lines preferred; white-goods, automotive components, or similar discrete manufacturing accepted).
- Strong knowledge of time-and-motion studies, standard cycle definition, and line balancing.
- Practical working knowledge of SAP PP module (routings, work orders, standard times) — hands-on data entry/verification experience required, not just theoretical knowledge.
- Structured documentation skills: able to produce clear, standardized cycle packs and validation sheets.
- Strong shopfloor orientation: comfortable spending most of the time on the production floor, running workshops with operators and team leaders.
- Gap-analysis and continuous improvement mindset (Lean/WCM/TPM exposure is a plus).
- Fluent in English; local language of the assigned plant is required;
- Availability for extended on-site presence at the assigned plant, with flexibility across discovery, build and validation phases.
