**Job Description**:
- Supervises the daily activities of the shipping operations.
- Ensures adequate levels of material and product inventories are maintained.
- Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs.
- Supervises work of inventory control employees. Researches equipment, repair part, allowance, supply and inventory problems.




- Schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers.
- Analyzes inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels which will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
- Develops detailed inventory scenarios and identifies trends.
- Leads evaluation of on-site,inventories.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires at least 5 years related experience. Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures including, handling exceptions. Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability. Strong verbal communication skills. Effectively motivates and manages a team.
