We are seeking an EES (Electrical Electronic Systems) Engineer who will support the Engineering Product Development Process. The position is within the Engineering organization focused on new vehicle projects. The QE will be the quality representative in the design department to make the process of design robust.

The QE mission is to deploy, audit, and contribute to the implementation of methodologies enabling to guarantee internal quality in design, integration, and EE systems validation (HW, SW, Mechanical) on new projects.

The Key Responsibilities Include

Align the Quality Management System to EES

Formalize and update the engineering and quality design processes and communicate

Train and support the engineering and quality design processes

Set up the EES operational scheduling and support the profession

Monitor the performance of engineering and design quality processes

Formalize and maintain for EES top hat, platform and modules

Initiate the management of the parts to be monitored through APQP

Evaluate and measure the maturity of the requirements of the QMS

Ensure support and update of the Engineering Handbook (EHB) for EES

Provide Quality Assurance methodological support (analysis, support and coaching on APQP/PPAP and Design Approval (TR)

Increase skills to train, coach, qualify the core teams stakeholders in Quality Assurance Processes

Contribute to the robustness of serial life evolutions and Change Management Preferred QualificationsAutomotive Systems & Architecture Experience EE Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity with automotive EE architectures, including body electronics, infotainment, ADAS, powertrain/powertrain management, high/low voltage power distribution, and CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication protocols.

Systems & Requirements Engineering:

Hands-on experience with systems engineering principles and tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, JAMA, Polarion) for requirements traceability from vehicle-level specs down to HW/SW requirements.

Core Automotive Quality Frameworks: Proven expertise applying APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) specifically tailored to electronic hardware, embedded software, and mechatronics.

Functional Safety & Cybersecurity: Strong working knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity) and their integration into product design and release gates.

Process & Software Standards: Familiarity with Automotive SPICE (A-SPICE), CMMI, or IATF 16949 quality management standards in a design and development context.

Design Engineering Methodologies: Demonstrated proficiency in leading or coaching teams through DFMEA, SFMEA, DRBFM, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), and 8D root-cause problem-solving methodologies.

Education & Soft Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, or Quality Management.

Influence Without Authority: Ability to drive quality discipline, process compliance,

and technical rigor across cross-functional engineering teams without direct line management authority.

Change Management & Mentorship: Strong aptitude for coaching, training, and uplifting team capabilities—guiding engineers through process adoption rather than simply policing compliance.

Analytical & Root-Cause Mindset: Methodical approach to problem-solving, with an eye for detail when identifying risks in system design, requirements gaps, or process bottlenecks.

Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex technical EES quality risks into clear operational impacts for executive stakeholders.

Adaptability & Pragmatism: Balance between strict adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the practical flexibility needed in fast-paced new vehicle development programs.

Stakeholder Negotiation: Skill in mediating alignment between design release engineers, suppliers, program management, and manufacturing operations during technical reviews (TR) and gateway approvals.
