Our client provides voice and enterprise data to frontier AI labs powering the highest-quality Japanese and Arabic voice data through a network spanning 15 countries, alongside real-world enterprise RL environments built from proprietary company data rather than synthetic sources. Backed and building fast, the company already runs $80K MRR (~$1M ARR) working with top voice and frontier labs.

We're hiring the first engineer on the team reporting directly to the co-founders (ex-Coinbase and ex-Intel AI Research), with a clear path to leading the engineering function as the team scales.

What You'll Own

- Build high-quality RL environments from Client' proprietary voice and enterprise datasets
- Build and deploy AI agents for enterprise customers
- Partner with the co-founders on technical direction and roadmap
- Lead the engineering team as it grows
- Ship fast: the team values speed and shipping quality at startup pace

- What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of engineering experience with strong RL fundamentals




- Hands-on experience building RL environments at an RL or human-data company (Surge, Mercor, Turing, Scalar AI Labs, Proximal, or similar)
- Track record shipping AI agents in production
- Daily fluency with AI-native tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
- Located in LATAM with a willingness to work 5.5 days a week with PST overlap

Nice-to-Have

- Full-stack engineering background (TypeScript, AWS) for marketplace work
- iOS, Swift, or React Native experience for mobile app development
- Prior startup experience with demonstrated shipping cadence

Compensation

- Salary: $100,000–$200,000
