Manage and oversee the Basis operation of Company’ SAP landscape, ensuring technical health, performance, availability, and security of the platform. Coordinate and follow up on Basis work carried out by Accenture, ensuring technical quality, adherence to timelines, and alignment with Company standards. Since Finance concentrates the most critical processes within the landscape, it receives priority attention in response to incidents and technical changes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the Basis operation of the SAP landscape — monitoring system status, platform health, kernel, support packs, patches, and upgrades; acting as the technical control point within Company.
- Coordinate and oversee Accenture on Basis topics — follow up on activities executed by the external team, review technical deliverables, validate change quality, and ensure adherence to agreed standards and windows.
- Operate and oversee the Transport Management System (TMS) — control the flow of changes across environments, authorize transports into production, and ensure traceability.
- Performance tuning and proactive monitoring — identify bottlenecks,



review system parameters, anticipate incidents, and escalate when needed.
- Oversee system copies, refreshes, and continuity scenarios — keep QA and development aligned with production; participate in DR testing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams — SAP security, DBAs, networks, and application teams.
- Ensure compliance with controls and documentation — maintain traceability and align with audit policies.

Mandatory (must-have)
- Bachelor’s or Engineering degree (Systems, IT, Telecommunications or related).
- 8+ years SAP Basis experience in productive environments.
- Experience with HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Cloud experience: AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Vendor coordination experience.
- ITIL knowledge.
- Advanced English and Spanish.

Desirable (nice-to-have)
- SAP Basis certifications
- S/4HANA and HANA DB experience
- Solution Manager knowledge
- Disaster recovery and cloud migrations
