**Job Summary/Overview**:
Role includes:
- Owning and driving the Master Production Schedule (MPS) as it relates to planned and unplanned forecast demand, forecast shortages, production & inventory changes, and execution of the master production schedule at the site.
- Leading production control in preparation and planning of production schedules to meet the MPS and customer requirement schedules.
- Leading MRO & VMI procurement from the site, ensuring that purchased items are planned and executed correct, complete and on-time to meet MPS requirements.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Active leader in the SIOP process and planning teams, providing plans, manufacturing schedules and ensuring timely execution in CMCO facilities.
- Analyze and execute Master Production Schedules (MPS), taking into account commercial forecasts, inventory, production plans, and other important considerations such as backlog, availability of capacity and management policies and goals.
- Assess, execute and communicate the MPS daily to ensure it continually meets customer service goals, inventory levels, shelf-life requirements, production efficiency and capacity objectives.
- Direct and successfully execute any MPS changes throughout the planning and supply chain process (due to failed batches, changes in customer demand unscheduled downtime in production and/or whenever the schedule no longer meets objectives).
- Interact with Customer Service to provide timely and accurate information on product availability, schedule changes, general inquiries, and all similar communication.
- Monitor inventory levels across plant, including surplus and obsolete inventory, and drive reduction of inventory levels where possible.
- Actively identify and execute cost improvement programs.
- Drive planning and expeditor teams to analyze plant capacity, maximize use of available labor, prioritize manufacturing load and meet customer requirements.




- Lead launch teams in definition and execution of new product startups pertaining to materials, training, interplant coordination, and cross functional team coordination.
- Skilled in forecasting demands and shortages.
**Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities**:
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to execute across various MRP/ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze situations, find root causes and direct Staff in executing RCCM fixes.
- Demonstrated ability in using Lean manufacturing tools and processes to drive continuous improvement across complex organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required. Extended knowledge and experience in ERP systems.
- Experience developing and executing SIOP, MPS and manufacturing execution processes across complex manufacturing environments.
- Required to produce outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Ensures all orders are shipped on time and in compliance with customer specifications.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Establish and execute production scheduling processes across planning/expeditor teams by supply execution and expediting which results in an achievable plan that meets revenue objectives for each outlook, optimizes productivity, minimizes inventory, and maximizes customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study with five (5) years of material management, planning/scheduling experience in a complex manufacturing and assembly environment. Normal mechanical and analytical ability is a must.
- In the absence of a 4-year degree in an appropriate field of study, this position requires an additional three (3) years of related experience.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Well-organized, be able to multi-task and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Customer service driven, able to understand and support the business goals and objectives.
- Practical Manufacturing experience in planning, input/output control, bills of materials, routing, and inventory management
