Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking Senior Business Analysts with strong expertise in the payments domain to join a long-term engagement with a integral leader in financial technology. As a Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and developers to gather requirements, perform gap analyses, define integration approaches, and ensure the successful delivery of payment solutions.

This is a fully remote opportunity based in Mexico, ideal for experienced BAs who understand ISO 8583, card schemes, and payments processing.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and management to define and document end-user requirements and specifications.
- Analyze and evaluate system requirements on a continuous basis.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand the customer’s current payment process, solution, or platform.
- Perform gap analysis between client needs and existing product functionality.




- Write detailed business requirements and ensure clear handoff to development teams.
- Partner with developers and QA to define optimized system integrations.
- Support payments certification processes with acquirers, issuers, and card schemes.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and visualizations for internal and external teams.

Must-Have Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO 8583 message formats and flows.
- Deep understanding of card scheme processes, certification workflows, and back-office banking operations.
- High proficiency in business requirement documentation.
- Fluent in Spanish (mandatory) and English (professional working proficiency required).
