About Us

Marketopia is a 10x Inc. 5000 growth marketing company serving MSPs and technology vendors in the IT channel. We're building a suite of AI-powered SaaS products — MSProspector (live, with paying subscribers), our client portal platform (portal.marketopia.com), and a vendor-facing prospecting product now in development — all on a shared modern stack. We ship fast using AI coding agents (Claude Code) and need a senior engineer to own the platform's quality, architecture, and reliability as we scale.

This is not a ticket-taking role. You will be the technical owner of a multi-product monorepo, the human in the loop on AI-generated code, and the person who makes sure what ships to clients works every time.

What You'll Own

Architecture consistency across a Turborepo monorepo serving multiple Next.js apps — deciding what lives in shared packages vs. product apps, and enforcing one pattern per problem

Code review and quality gates on AI-generated code — you'll work alongside Claude Code daily, reviewing, correcting, and hardening its output before it merges

Database integrity — Supabase/Postgres schema design, migrations, and Row Level Security across multi-tenant products

CI/CD and testing — building and enforcing the pipeline: typecheck, lint, build, and Playwright end-to-end coverage on client-facing critical paths. Failing CI blocks merges, no exceptions

Production reliability — error monitoring (Sentry), staging environments with production-shaped data, incident response, and driving the client-facing bug count toward zero

Third-party integrations — Stripe billing, GoHighLevel API, data vendor APIs, and internal service-to-service auth

What We're Looking For

6+ years of full-stack engineering, with at least 2 years owning a production multi-tenant SaaS product end to end

Deep TypeScript and Next.js (App Router specifically — not just Pages Router experience)

Real Postgres depth: schema design, migrations under load, and hands-on Row Level Security experience (this will be tested in the interview)

You've built CI/CD pipelines and test suites from scratch, not just worked inside ones someone else built

Experience working with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot Workspace, or similar) as a reviewer and director — you see them as leverage, not a threat, and you know their failure modes

Strong written English; comfortable working async with terse, direct communication

Self-directed. You'll have a clear roadmap and specs, but nobody managing your day

Nice to Have

Supabase specifically (vs. general Postgres)

Stripe billing architecture (subscriptions, metered usage, unified customer records)

Data pipeline experience: enrichment, dedupe, provenance tracking

GoHighLevel or other marketing automation platform APIs

Experience at an agency or in B2B sales-tech / martech
