Senior Storage Systems Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Storage Systems Engineer, you will architect and manage large-scale data environments to ensure high availability and performance. You will act as a technical pillar for our storage infrastructure, optimizing how data is stored, protected, and accessed across distributed systems.

What You'll Do

- Architect and maintain distributed storage solutions to handle massive data volumes with high reliability.
- Implement and optimize durability and consistency models to protect data integrity across various clusters.
- Develop low-level systems code to enhance the performance and efficiency of object and block storage services.
- Automate storage provisioning and lifecycle management to streamline infrastructure operations.




- Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing bottlenecks in replication and data retrieval.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, storage administration, or systems programming.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing distributed storage systems like Ceph, MinIO, or S3-compatible solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust for systems-level development.
- Deep understanding of data durability, consistency models, and replication strategies in storage architectures.
- Strong background in building and operating block, file, or object storage at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
