**Back Office & Operations Associate - Private Equity Fund**
**Location**: Bosques de las Lomas, Mexico City
**Job Type**: Full-time
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Quarterly Reports to LPs**: Prepare and submit detailed quarterly reports to LPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- **ILPA Standards Reporting (Institutional Limited Partners Association)**: Generate and present reports following ILPA standards, ensuring transparency and alignment with LPs' expectations.
- **Managing Relationship with Independent Valuator**: Coordinate communication with the independent valuator for quarterly portfolio valuations based on information provided by the investments team.
- **Capital Calls and Distributions**: Manage capital calls to LPs, as well as distributions and other monetary requests, ensuring proper execution and recording of each transaction.
- **Coordination with Legal Counsel**: Collaborate with the fund's legal counsel to ensure all reports and documents comply with applicable regulatory frameworks.
- **Support to Administration and Finance Teams**: Provide accurate and timely information to the administration and finance teams for the preparation of financial statements for the various vehicles managed by the fund.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a private equity fund, banking institution, or financial entity.
- Prior experience in back office operations, with knowledge of capital calls and distributions to LPs.
- Experience in managing reports under ILPA standards and coordinating with independent valuators is highly valued.
- **Skills**:
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to work with financial data with precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and social skills to manage relationships with counterparts, including valuators and internal teams.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with the investment, finance, and legal departments.
- Diplomacy and tact in handling complex situations.
- **Technical Knowledge & Other Qualifications**:
- Familiarity with the regulatory framework applicable to private equity funds in Mexico.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced office tools (Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a rigorous focus on the accuracy of financial reports.
- **Language**: Fluent in English.
- **Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certifications in finance or fund administration are highly regarded.
