Principal
**Responsibilities**:
- Stakeholders’ communication to translate business requirements into functional and advanced technical implementations
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and automate data gathering techniques using complex queries (SQL/Snowflake) and/or Stored Procedures
- Use statistical languages (R, Python, SQL, SAS, etc.) to manipulate large datasets and draw insights through advanced statistical techniques
- Influence the roadmap of proprietary data collection agents, data collection processes and enhance data quality through robust data cleansing/cleaning techniques
- Build predictive models with large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns to anticipate future behaviors and optimize our current product strategy.
- Develop innovative Machine Learning (Supervised and unsupervised models) and Deep Learning models from training to deployment in Snowpark, AWS, Databricks, Azure or similar
- Create, deploy, and maintain time series forecasting and anomaly detection models that can run into a high predictive power through the time.
- Propose solutions that create business value derived from available data (Automations, models, dashboards, stored procedures, etc) including AI, Gen AI
- Effectively collaborate and problem solving with all Business units, IT Solutions companies & general team to drive actions that maintain and win new business successfully.
- Ability to create visualizations in the most effective way possible (Power BI) and the use of DAX +
- Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way to different audiences
- Maintain and be responsible for the Power BI architecture projects.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an area related to IT, Data Science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics, etc
- Experience leading projects, manage end-to-end innovation / data science projects, including stakeholders’ communication and problem solving.
- Minimum experience of 4 years in positions related to data analytics / data science
- Experience in data transformation, automation of manual processes, creation of scripts
- Advanced SQL, Power BI or another related BI tool,
- Advanced use of a statistical programming language (R/Python)
- Experience in creation (or at least understanding) of ETLs, Stored Procedures
- Experience with tools for data modeling, data cleansing
- Experience working in dynamic groups, taking initiative, working independently, and collaborating with others when necessary.
- Advanced English.
