We are on the lookout for an experienced Lead Business Analyst who specializes in the digitalization of business processes and their subsequent implementation into COTS solutions. The successful applicant will have robust expertise in conducting workflow analysis and system integration, specifically within lab environments.
**Responsibilities**
- Undertake comprehensive analysis of well-documented scientific business processes
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate workshops to gather precise workflow requirements for integration into LabVantage LIMS
- Perform detailed requirements analysis and align them effectively with LabVantage capabilities
- Evaluate systems for feasible workflows and strategize data migration from other LIMS to LabVantage
- Investigate possible integrations of LabVantage with diverse platforms and tools
- Delve deeply into various lab processes such as the Plant Analysis Group, Transient Transformation, Nucleic Acid Sequencing Lab, and begin preparatory work for the Mass Sec Lab project
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the life sciences field
- Experience in leadership and managing teams
- Established background in the LIMS domain with an understanding of molecular biology lab operations
- Preferably direct experience with LV LIMS, although familiarity with other life science LIMS is also valuable
- Demonstrated capability in eliciting user requirements directly from lab scientists
- Skilled in developing test cases and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Experienced in collaborating with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to achieve project goals
- Proficient in using JIRA for creating user stories and Confluence for documenting user requirements
- Fluent in English, with communication skills at a B2 level or higher
