We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in building and managing sophisticated data pipelines for our dynamic organization. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming raw data into valuable business intelligence, driving strategic decisions across the company.
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze, profile, and evaluate data sources to ensure quality and applicability
- Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including technical experts and business professionals
- Design logical and physical structures for data warehousing solutions
- Build, implement, and fine-tune data pipelines to optimize data flow and storage
- Coordinate with the technical team during weekly meetings and assist in managing support tickets
- Work closely with both technical and business units to collect, clarify, and document requirements ensuring they are complete and precise
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a role similar to a Python Developer, focusing on data engineering tasks
- Proficiency in SFTP and API development for secure data transfer and integration
- Extensive experience with AWS Lambda for running code in response to events
- In-depth knowledge of AWS S3 for scalable cloud storage solutions
- Strong command of SQL for managing databases
- Experience with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand and meet their data needs
- Fluent in English, with a proficiency level of B2 or higher
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with AWS Step Functions, AWS Glue, or EC2 for managing workflows and data processing tasks




- Experience with Databricks for big data processing on the unified analytics platform
- Knowledge of Git for version control
- Proficiency in Airflow for orchestrating complex computational workflows and data processing
