Engineer (Apache Knox) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer specializing in Apache Knox, you will manage the security gateway for Hadoop clusters. You will serve as a key link between complex big data infrastructure and secure user access, handling authentication, token management, and API gateway configurations to ensure a protected data ecosystem What You'll Do Design, deploy, and manage Apache Knox instances as the primary security gateway for Hadoop clusters.

Configure and maintain authentication and authorization providers to ensure secure access to data services.

Implement and manage token-based authentication and identity assertion for seamless service integration.





Develop and optimize API gateway configurations to protect and scale access to Hadoop REST APIs.

Monitor and troubleshoot gateway performance and security logs to ensure high availability and compliance.

What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Systems Security.

Proven expertise in managing Apache Knox as a security gateway for Hadoop clusters.

Proficiency in configuring authentication, token management, and API gateway policies.

Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem security and directory service integrations.

Strong background in managing secure access to distributed data services.
