Employee will be located in Tijuana but will support Tijuana and San Diego factories, reporting to direct manager on Mexico City.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing, including the definition of design of experiments (DOE),
- Adjust and calibrate instruments according to standard operating procedures (SOP),
- Research and explore new methods and technologies,
- Design and conduct experiments to improve manufacturing procedures and raw materials,
- Lead improvement initiatives to enhance production processes,
- Gather estimates of production costs,
- Test and monitor the performance of processes throughout production,
- Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes,
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports on findings,
- Validate raw material or process changes,
- Release engineering changes as per business needs.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering,
- Significant experience with colorants and injection materials, such as TPE and silicone,
- Significant experience with foams and polymers.




- Significant experience on definition of design of experiments (DOE).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and mathematics,
- Aptitude for and interest in chemistry,
- Project management and resource management skills,
- Excellent oral and written communication skills,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities,
- Commitment to deliver projects timely,
- MS Office Intermediate (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word),
- Statistical analysis experience. Process capability studies (Minitab)

- Demonstrable experience for 3D and 2D modifications on SolidWorks,
- AutoCAD demonstrable experience,
- Acoustics theory knowhow,
- Project Management experience.
