Engineer (InfluxDB) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer specializing in InfluxDB, you will operate and optimize time-series database solutions to handle massive volumes of timestamped data. You will play a vital role in enabling real-time insights for IoT telemetry and infrastructure monitoring, ensuring high-performance data ingestion and retrieval.
What You'll Do Design, deploy, and manage production-grade InfluxDB instances for high-velocity time-series workloads.
Develop and optimize complex Flux queries to provide real-time analytics and monitoring insights.
Configure and maintain Telegraf agents to automate the collection of metrics, events, and sensor data.
Build and maintain interactive real-time monitoring dashboards to visualize system health and IoT telemetry.
Optimize database performance, retention policies,
and storage efficiency to handle growing data cardinality.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate time-series data into broader observability and alerting frameworks.
What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Database Administration.
Proven expertise in operating and managing InfluxDB for time-series data.
Proficiency in writing complex queries using Flux and managing data collection with Telegraf.
Hands-on experience building real-time monitoring dashboards and handling IoT telemetry at scale.
Strong background in optimizing time-series database performance and storage.
