Engineer (Layer 2) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer specializing in Layer 2, you will build and operate scaling solutions for Ethereum to enhance transaction throughput and reduce costs. You will play a key role in developing rollup infrastructure and bridge protocols that enable seamless interaction between different network layers.

What You'll Do Design and implement robust rollup infrastructure using technologies like Optimism, Arbitrum, or zkSync

Develop and maintain secure bridge protocols for asset and data transfer across Ethereum layers

Optimize L2-native applications to ensure high performance and low-latency execution

Research and integrate emerging scaling techniques to improve network efficiency and security





Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define standards for Layer 2 integration and ecosystem growth What We Are Looking For 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Blockchain or Layer 2 scaling.

Proven expertise in building or operating Layer 2 scaling solutions for Ethereum.

Hands-on experience with rollup infrastructure such as Optimism, Arbitrum, or zkSync.

Proficiency in developing and managing bridge protocols and L2-native applications.

Strong understanding of Ethereum core concepts and decentralized network architectures.
