We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with deep experience supporting law firm clients and a strong command of US GAAP to join a fast-paced outsourced accounting environment. This role is idóneo for someone who thrives in a multi-client setting, brings a high level of technical accounting expertise, and can independently manage complex engagements with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do
- Law Firm & Client Accounting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for law firm clients, including matter-based cost tracking, billing reconciliations, and client trust account oversight.
- Prepare and review client invoices, accounts receivable aging reports, and collections follow-up in coordination with firm administrators.
- Support accounts payable workflows, including vendor management, invoice approval, and payment processing.
- Prepare and/or review capital contributions, partner allocations, draws, and equity schedules for partnership structures.
- Coordinate with attorneys and administrative staff to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- General Accounting & Reporting
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and/or review compiled and reviewed financial statements and supporting workpapers in accordance with US GAAP.
- Apply technical GAAP guidance to complex transactions, including revenue recognition, lease accounting (ASC 842), and expense allocation.
- Support annual audits and reviews, including preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
- Assist in the design and improvement of accounting workflows, internal controls, and reporting processes across client engagements.
- Multi-Client Management
- Manage multiple simultaneous client engagements with competing deadlines, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Serve as a primary accounting contact for assigned clients, delivering timely financial insights and proactive communication.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience with law firm or professional services clients strongly preferred.
- Deep, working knowledge of US GAAP , including revenue recognition, accrual accounting, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency with accounting platforms such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, QBO, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license or active candidacy.
- Experience in an outsourced or multi-client accounting environment.
- Familiarity with legal billing software (e.g., Clio, Bill4Time, TimeSolv) or practice management systems.
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
- Track record of improving accounting systems, workflows, or internal controls.

- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.
