About This Opportunity:
As a Financial Analyst you will report directly to our Senior Manager of Office Services and will focus on accounting and finance support for our Mexico operations. The position is ideal for someone who is ready to make their first steps from University into an Accounting / Finance position. Bilingual language skills (English and Spanish) are required.
**This is a hybrid working team where you will be in-office 2 days per week.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide regional weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Provide sales data, reports and analysis to the Business Team.
- Review invoices for suppliers and check that they comply with tax requirements.
- Handle accounts payable to ensure accuracy of payments posted and amounts billed.
- Review card testing process and make sure the configuration was set up correctly, specifically the merchant margin and commissions to be paid.




- Prepare payment arrangement on a weekly basis.
- Prepare cash flow report.
- Assist with complete month end reconciliations for all balance sheet and revenue accounts.
- Preparation of internal financial reports including Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Aid in bookkeeping functions.
- Assist team with reconciliations and solve the discrepancies.
- Assist team in identifying the finance issues and to support team with solutions.
- Assist team with finance related queries from customers and suppliers.
- Assist manager to prepare audit documents and handle audit requests.
- Assist manager to prepare in-house finance documents and schedules.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to the department.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as required.
- Aid in developing the regional finance procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Business
- 1+ years’ experience in bookkeeping / accounting experience
- Experience with bank reconciliation, month end reconciliation
- Experience with AR and AP processes
- Understanding of accounting principles and internal controls, MEX GAAP
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables and V-Lookups are a must)
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle critical deadline demands
- Accuracy, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Good work history and dependability
- Able to confidently build rapport both internally and with business partners.
- Oracle experience as an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: English and Spanish
