**About the Role**
As a Data Analyst, Grocery & Retail on the Visibility team, your mission is to unlock insights about customer behavior using data. You'll collaborate closely with our Growth team to build tools and analyses that turn raw app event data into actionable strategies. Your work will empower stakeholders to make fast, data-informed decisions.
In this role, you'll develop and maintain dashboards, pipelines, and reports that provide clear visibility into user engagement, trends, and product performance. Given the high volume and often messy nature of our data, this position calls for strong data infrastructure thinking and deep SQL expertise. You'll combine technical skills with a collaborative mindset, partnering with teams across the business to understand their needs and deliver scalable, evolving solutions.
**What You'll Do**
- Collaborate with Growth and other business teams to understand data needs and translate them into reliable analytical tools and dashboards
- Analyze user behavior from event data to support initiatives around customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Build and maintain scalable, user-friendly dashboards in Tableau or Google Sheets to deliver actionable insights




- Write advanced SQL queries to clean, process, and transform raw data into meaningful metrics
- Support and improve ETL processes to ensure data quality and availability
- Document dashboards, data models, and tables to provide clear, consistent sources of truth
- Iterate on solutions based on feedback and changing business priorities
**What You'll Need**
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar roles (e.g.,BI Analyst, BI Engineer, Data Scientist, Data engineer, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Engineer, etc.)
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Strong SQL skills, particularly with large and unstructured datasets
- Experience creating data visualizations and developing dashboards
- Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
**Bonus Points**
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Experience working with app event data or behavioral analytics
- Working knowledge of Python or a similar data-oriented programming language
