At ZTE Corporation de México, we are looking for a high-level Telecom Trainer to lead a strategic 4-month project focused on technical empowerment, optical network training, and knowledge transfer for key client operations.

If you are a Telecommunications expert with a passion for teaching, skilled in both optical transport and access networks, and thrive in fast-paced tech environments, this challenge is for you! Key Mission:

Beyond standard training, you will design, deliver, and continuously optimize technical instruction programs on optical access and transport technologies.

Your mission is to empower internal teams and client engineers, ensuring high-level operational autonomy and technical excellence. Main Responsibilities:

Technical Training Delivery: Lead formal classroom and hands-on training sessions, workshops, and lab exercises for clients and internal teams on optical access (GPON) and transport (DWDM/OTN) systems.

Curriculum and Content Development: Design, update, and tailor technical training materials, user manuals, presentations, and lab guides aligned with project scope and client requirements.

Knowledge Transfer and Skill Assessment: Evaluate participant progress, conduct technical certifications/assessments, and ensure effective knowledge transfer for real-world network operations and troubleshooting.

Hands-On Lab Facilitation: Demonstrate equipment configuration, commissioning,



and diagnostic procedures using live or simulated network management systems (NMS/EMS) and lab environments.

Technical Consultation: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during training sessions, answering complex technical queries regarding network deployment, protocols, and maintenance. What we are looking for:

Degree: Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in Telecommunications, with a strong background as a Technical Trainer, Field Instructor, or Senior Support Engineer with proven training experience.

Expertise and Preferences

Solid hands-on knowledge and field experience in GPON architectures (OLT, ONT/ONU) and Optical Access Networks.

Strong background in Optical Transport Networks (DWDM, OTN, SDH, ROADM, Amplifiers).

Familiarity with optical fiber testing tools (OTDR, Power Meters) and NMS/EMS management platforms.

Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and pedagogical skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

English: Advanced-Intermediate.

Mobility: Availability to travel within Mexico as required by project training schedules. What we offer:
