**About the Role**
Manage execution of calibrations plans on environmental equipment according required standards and specifications.
**What You Will Do**
- Create calibration certificates for Temperature and Humidity, create corrective maintenance tickets as needed.
- Conduct calibrations following established procedures as required by specifications or international standards.
- Operates electronic and electro-acoustical test and measurement systems.
- Maintains all testing equipment including cleaning.
- Review scopes of calibration instruments with stakeholders.
- Review external calibration certificates as required.
- Assists in the preparation of statistical studies as required to establish reliability of electronic components.




- Assists engineers by performing a wide variety and more complex range of duties such as testing, calibrating, adjusting, and troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment.
- Operates equipment, conducts tests and assists in analyzing findings.
- Recognizes and solve thermocouple issues, equipment configuration, alarm settings and lost instruments.
- Support technicians in problem solving of testing equipment; provide training to technicians related to testing equipment function, maintenance and calibration.
- Execution, closing and change status of calibrations in web system per schedule planned dates.
- Performs non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity.
- Manage execution of calibration in house per schedule plan and update records in websystem, assist with and resolve scheduling problems with stakeholders.
- Responsible to perform other tasks as business needs require or as assigned by management.
**What You Need to Be Successful**
- Education: High school or 2-year associate’s degree or certification program, preferred in maintenance and calibration, environmental test equipment or electronics. Additional experience can be substituted for education.
- 1+ year experience as technician or experience not required if electrical/mechanical background education
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.




- Work requires a considerable variety of steady active physical exertion with some lifting and/or continuous standing or walking. Work requires regular speed, and high accuracy and adeptness to operate a limited range of equipment. The employee must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation: how sensors work (e.g. temperature sensors: thermocouples, prt, etc.) and measurement systems.
- Basic knowledge on error analysis in measurement and its uncertainty and different areas of physics.
**Bonus Points if You Have**
- Automotive electronics background
- Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited Laboratory
- Climatic chamber operation.

- Willingness to work in an office in Queretaro, Mexico.
