- Drives the sustainable achievement of production excellence and continuous improvement, measured through standardized plant KPIs and benchmarks with other areas / plants / divisions.
- Conducts meetings with shopfloor personnel as well as with production supervisors to ensure work is properly delegated and deadlines are met.
- Maintains the ability to prioritize projects and ensures they remain on schedule.
- Supports and strives towards safety in all facets of the manufacturing facility.
- Coordinates all activities necessary to fulfill the production schedule by line per shift, taking care about product quality requirements as per control plan.
- Manufactures products by supervising staff, organizing and monitoring workflow.
- Verifies and releases production plan (Heiijunkas) according with capacities and available shifts.
- Takes the lead of multifunctional team to reach the KPI’s (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
- Assures the compliance of BPS (Bosch Production System) by following the standards.
- Strategic thinking: focus on the Big Picture, but still able to support staff occasionally with detailed analytics / determination, monitoring performance, discipline, assertiveness, result orientation, drive, and enthusiasm.
- Responsible for leading operations personnel through leadership tools (Coaching, mentoring, guiding, etc.).
- Ensures deployment of Quality basics.
- Ensures the headcount planning according with production volume forecast.




- Administration of the resources of the VS (Headcount, Overtime, Inventories, etc.).
- Reviews and ensures that the production line reaches the required level of production and quality on daily basis (Relative Utilization, Leveling Performance & Internal Defect Cost).
- Ensures process confirmation is conducted within operations personnel.
- Ensures communication among shifts and a proper overlapping between shift-change.
- Ensures that assigned personnel have the training and certifications according their competence matrix (CPtM).
- Plans & approves the overtime.
- Provides and supports Bosch Production System, Policy Deployment and teamwork.
- Continuously improves quality, cost, productivity, uptime machinery, relative utilization, turnover, absenteeism.
- Communicates plant goals, policies, information to manufacturing personnel in two ways.
- Promotes and supports Safety, Quality and Environment Plant goals.
- Ensures production control, avoiding having an excess of material on the production floor.
- Ensures the follow-up of Daily Management meeting structure.
- Ensures LPAs are conducted.
- Ensures on-time response on product audits deviations.
- Follows the Lead Supervisor standardized work, and makes sure his / her team follow their one as well.
- Ensures compliance of BPS programs (Standardized Work, Leveling, 6s, Kanban, FIFO).
- Makes sure the usage of Problem-Solving tools and Quality principles.




- Establishes the strategy for Tachinbo practices.
- Ensures the follow-up of Heijunka and DPI standards.
- Production monitoring report.
- Supports releasing material on Hold.
- Promotes and leads relative utilization and Productivity improvements through PDCA cycles.
- Carries out process confirmation of standards.
- Ensures adherence to standards ALR, EWS, LPA, PQIs, changeover checklist, process change management, escalation management through DRS, reports, 6S, material identification, 14Q Principles, safety standards, etc.
- Confirms existence and effectiveness of quality controls in production based on control plans.
- Owns and drives the Relative Utilization PDCA for own production lines. Steering of all necessarily activities from supporting departments (MFP, MQE, TEF, suppliers, etc.) to achieve Relative Utilization targets.
- Ensures production control system is established and runs stable.
- Provides input for the definition of System-CIP projects on Value Stream level.
- Drives the execution and follow-up of Make System-CIP projects.
- Proficiency in BPS principles and methods as production control, quick changeover, 6S, etc.
- Problem solving techniques to ensure sustainable solutions from own team and from supporting departments/suppliers.
- Full understanding of the calculation logic of the main KPIs and development of a plan in the areas of big leverage of influence.
- Resource management (HC planning based on concrete demand to avoid overload, production loss, too high costs due to low productivity, etc.).
- Development of direct reports with the target of developing at least one successor out of own team.
