This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. Job Purpose and Impact
The Research and Development Technical Services Specialist II will collaborate with a team to execute the business plan to meet business goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development projects, lead, prioritize and report on the associated portfolios and drive process improvements using available supporting tools and metrics. Will handle the customer facing, innovation journey across texturizers, starches, sweetness, and fats. Key Accountabilities
Develop strong customer relationships at Bakery and/or Dairy key accounts.
Provide technical support, identify new solutions to the customer,



technical influencer to recommend the best solutions around our ingredient’s portfolio.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating more complex projects.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
**Experience in a related field**: Food Engineer, Food Chemistry, Chemical, Biochemical Engineer, Biotechnology Engineer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Related work experience in Research and Development, New Product Development, Technical Service on Bakery and/or Dairy industry
Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise
**Travel availability**: Occasional traveling, mainly within Mexico but, internationally may be required.
