**About The Role**:

** Position Summary**
This position is responsible for managing the release cycles of assigned databases and data files within the Data Operations Team. This role serves as the main point of contact for internal and external customers as it relates to customer concerns, data inquires, process improvement and change management. This is a development position for a future manager role.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Managing the timing and release of all compiled data in the Data Operations Team.
- Serves as a liaison between Data Purchasing, Product Management, Sales, Data Production and Data Delivery team for source issues, product impact, project impact and change management.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and assists with estimation and prioritization
- Facilitate the setup and maintenance of new source data receipt and enhancement
- Manages special projects within the Data Operations group.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams responsible for investigating issues, proposing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
- Assists in educating customers and employees on practices, procedures and processes associated with assigned business processes.
- Keeps current with Industry trends, market activities and technology developments.
- Mentor to junior team members and back up to the team leader
**Relationships/Contacts**
- Works closely with all levels of management and employees across IHSM business units.
- May interact with external customers and vendors.
- Mentors junior team members
**Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities**
This position is a development for future management within the team




**Minimum Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrations, IT or equivalent combination of education and experiences.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience within a data-oriented business.
- Experience in managing projects from requirements gathering through execution
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical situations
- Ability to inform, educate and influence managers and employees to support objectives
- Knowledge of Automotive industry is a plus
- Previous management experience is a plus
