**About the Role**
As a **Structuring & Risk Associate**, you will own portfolio and structure-level analysis across our private‑debt deals. You’ll design SPV/trust cashflow waterfalls, set and test portfolio covenants, build IRR and stress test models, draft key structuring slides for both screening decks and CAMs, and collaborate closely with Origination & Analysis to translate loan-level inputs into resilient transaction structures.
**What You Will Do (Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs))**
- **Source & screen deals**: Drive market research, manage referral pipelines, and lead initial borrower assessments with go/no-go recommendations.
- **Underwrite opportunities**: Build financial models, analyze credit metrics and historical performance, and distill findings into concise investment memoranda.
- **Structure & negotiate terms**: Recommend pricing, tenor and collateral packages; embed covenants into term sheets; and finalize commitment-letter language.
- **Lead due diligence**: Coordinate on-site KYC, AML and documentation reviews; validate data with analysts; and ensure all legal and corporate filings are in order.
- **Monitor portfolio & relationships**: Conduct periodic reviews to adjust pricing, covenant resets and top-ups; collaborate with Risk and Structuring; and serve as primary borrower liaison.
**What You Will Bring (Skills & Qualifications)**
- 5+ years’ experience in private debt, impact lending, leveraged finance, investment banking, or credit analysis
- Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel proficiency to manipulate company data,



and comfortable with financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Excellent investment writing and presentation skills in English and Spanish
- Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple live deals
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Mexican non‑bank financial institution (NBFI) sector, including fintech and SOFOM landscapes
**Nice to have**:
- MBA and/or CFA
- Basic understanding of SPV/trust structures and waterfall mechanics
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks and/or exposure to impact measurement frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and client‑facing skills to build rapport and trust with borrowers

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per month
