**Job Title**: Remote Lead Biller (Contractor - Mexico-Based)

**Salary**: Starting Salary $100.00 (Mexican Pesos) per hour
**Job Type**: Full-time (40 Hours) per week
**Position Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor, generate, and analyze **daily and weekly billing KPIs** to ensure the billing department is operating at optimal efficiency. Oversee billing workflows to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Provide performance insights and recommendations for process improvement
- Ensure all claims and correction claims are submitted on schedule and within payer timely filing limits to prevent financial loss
- Proactively identify trends, delays, or bottlenecks in claims submission or corrections and escalate appropriately
- Develop and maintain **Excel-based reports**, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and charts to track billing metrics
- Communicate regularly with billing staff and U.S.based management to ensure alignment on goals and priorities
- Conduct internal audits to verify accuracy of billing activity and documentation
- Remain up to date with payer requirements, especially regarding timelines and denial management
- Reports on status of payments, denials to Upper Management.
**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum of **3 years of experience in U.S. medical or behavioral health billing**:
- Proven ability to manage **accounts receivable (A/R)** processes, including follow-ups, reconciliations, and denial resolution




- Strong command of **Microsoft Excel**, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Experience conducting **research and analysis on large volumes of billing data or accounts**:
- Familiarity with claims processing, corrections, resubmissions, and payer rules regarding timely filing
- Demonstrated experience tracking and interpreting **key billing and revenue cycle KPIs**:
- Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism and ability to work independently and remotely with mínimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in **English**:
- Reliable internet connection and availability during U.S. working hours.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in **behavioral health or psychiatric billing**(could be discussed based on skill set).
- Familiarity with U.S. payers: Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurers
- Previous use of platforms such as Kareo, DrFirst, AdvancedMD, or similar systems
- Experience with denial/appeal processes and billing compliance standards
**Other Duties**:
- Performs credentialing duties as needed
- Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper (this may be a requirement when ABHS brings billing in-house).
**Compensation**: Competitive, paid in MXN or USD depending on experience and contract terms
**Schedule**: Full-time, contractor (Mon-Fri), aligned with U.S. hours
Pay: From $100.00 per hour
