We are looking for an experienced **Lead System Administrator**to join our team and take a central role in managing and optimizing financial technology systems.
In this role, you will work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure system reliability, compliance with SOX controls, and the delivery of scalable solutions that support evolving business goals. This position offers an opportunity to influence key financial operations and drive meaningful process enhancements in a dynamic setting.
**Responsibilities**
- Configure system workflows, fields, and functionalities to align with business operations and support continuous process improvements
- Oversee user access and permissions to ensure alignment with IT General Controls and SOX compliance standards
- Support SOX compliance by preparing and providing audit evidence related to system access and change management activities
- Maintain documentation and tracking for system modifications to ensure traceability and support change lookback audits
- Conduct role-based access reviews to uphold segregation of duties and ensure system roles match job responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal audit, IT security, and compliance teams to respond to audit inquiries and address identified control gaps
- Resolve user issues and address enhancement requests within agreed service-level timelines
- Engage with vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Document operational activities and audit records using tools like Jira
- Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable system solutions
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to guide strategic decisions related to the financial systems tech stack, including areas such as AP, GL, invoicing, and bank integration




- Lead and support system testing during implementations, optimization efforts, and regular updates
- Manage development, staging, and production environments in line with standard practices
- Create and maintain system documentation, including architectural diagrams, functional specifications, and business requirements
- Develop expertise in financial systems administration to enhance process efficiency and improve service quality
- Identify and recommend improvements to business processes, system performance, and compliance standards
- Provide additional support as needed to maintain and enhance financial systems and operations
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of experience working with financial systems and processes
- A minimum of 1 year of experience managing and leading teams
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT General Controls within SOX compliance, including role definition, UAR, change management, and administrative role reviews
- Experience with system customization and configuration, including custom fields, AP workflows, PO processing, payment handling, and AR adjustments
- Understanding of integration points between upstream and downstream systems
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX and SSAE16 SOC
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail




- Experience working with procurement platforms
- Knowledge of general ledger systems
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable platforms
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, transformation, and reloading
- Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively using Excel
- Proven leadership capabilities and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at a B2 level or higher
