**Position Overview**
We are seeking a General Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for Mexico. This role will focus on transactional accounting (accounts receivable, expense reporting, and reconciliations) while also providing opportunities to assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broad exposure to international accounting and grow into a more senior finance role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain accounts receivable records, prepare customer statements, and support collections follow-up.
- Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements.
- Record general ledger journal entries in Epicor ERP.
**Month-End Close & Reporting**
- Assist in monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Support preparation of internal reports.




- Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits.
**Process & Compliance**
- Ensure transactions are compliant with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures.
- Maintain organized financial records and support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS exposure a plus).
- Strong Excel skills: experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills; English and Spanish
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
