As a **PROCUREMENT BUYER II**here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving our organization's procurement and purchasing activities. This position plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function.
You will report directly to our **ISC Operations Manager**and you’ll work out of our **Cd Juarez, Chihuahua**location on a **On-site**work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by orchestrating and optimizing the procurement function, leading to enhanced operational efficiency, substantial cost savings, and fortifying its position in the competitive business landscape.
- Drive the purchasing process, from identifying procurement needs to supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring that purchases are made efficiently and in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Participate in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms to secure cost-effective and high-quality purchases.
- Monitor and control purchasing costs, seeking cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable terms,



and optimizing the allocation of resources.
- Lead cost optimization and market research efforts related to material relocation and supplier diversification, including secondary sourcing for bags, cartons, and packaging.
- Maintain and expand business opportunities related to consumables, ensuring continuity and efficiency.
- Drive strategic material relocation initiatives from China to Juárez to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools.
- SAP & Excel proficiency
- Upper intermediate English
