Responsible for the development and technical requirements of the design for assigned programs. Act as design lead contact for programs in different stages of the production (quotation, development, manufacturing, service). Conduct 3D modeling, design changes and create drawings using customer CAD system data banking standards.
Acts as interface with suppliers, model shops and customer to ensure best possible design.




Considers manufacturing and assembly concerns when designing.
Attends meetings on design issues and update files and directories.
Release drawings / math data to suppliers for the manufacture of tooling, prototypes, components and assembly aids associated with the program.
Release drawings / math data to the customer per customer’s standards.
Supports PAE for to make recommendations for product or test improvements to the program team to continuously drive towards lower cost and increased quality within the required timing.

Industrial Design preferable. Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial engineering as alternative.
Must prove fluent English
Microsoft Office tools
Experience in product design required (Plastics blow molding, preferable)
Experience in Catia - CAD program for automotive/manufacturing design is required (Solidworks, CREO, NX, preferable)
Experience in PLM programs (SAP, TeamCenter), preferable.
