**Main responsibilities are**:
- Contract Management: Legal safeguarding of service contracts, real estate leases, and machinery agreements.
- Proactive Compliance: Analyzing new regulations, developing work plans, and following up with relevant departments to ensure full compliance.
- Corporate Governance: Managing powers of attorney, minutes, and corporate documents, as well as coordinating notary procedures.
- Authority Liaison: Managing and responding to legal requirements in coordination with external consultants.
- Prevention Culture: Delivering internal training and providing legal counsel to all company departments.
**To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have**
- Bachelor’s degree in law (Licensed/J.D. equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience as in-house counsel or at a prestigious law firm.
- Advanced English B2-C1 verbal and written
- Commercial, Civil, Labor, and Tax Law knowledge
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple critical projects simultaneously.
- Proactive Attitude: You don’t just detect the problem; you propose the solution.
- Ethics and Innovation: A high sense of responsibility and openness to improving internal processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Plus: experience in the _maquiladora_/automotive manufacturing sector
