Analyzes the insights of customers and competition to provide inputs for the pre-development work and offers technical expertise for pre and post-sale activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Early engagement with customers and channel partners through “consultative” selling mindset, articulate value proposition/benefits
- Identify potential NPI opportunities from customer interactions, with the ability to provide conceptual design and recommendations.
- Support product qualifications, ensure product samples, supporting design, and verification activities
- Understand the market and leading customers’ technology, strategic direction, trends and unmet needs. Summarize and share the findings to PM and Engineering teams for future roadmap
- Publish thought leadership articles and papers online/ off-line
- Active participation in Tech-Days, Industry events and member of “standard setting” governing bodies
- Provide technical marketing support to new product launch and introduction, ensuring high quality content
- Drive customer issue resolution. Determine best course of action to solve technical problems, in required timeline
- Relay attractive M&A; / partnership options back to strategy teams
**Requirements**:
Technical Skills
- Strong technical knowledge in Performance Materials (e.g., heat shrink tubing, seals, EMI shielding).
- Ability to collect and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) data.
- Knowledge of NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
- Experience preparing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) or similar technical documentation.
- Understanding of market trends, customer technologies, and industrial standards.
- Ability to support product qualification, testing, and sample coordination.
Business & Commercial Skills
- Experience supporting sales cycles with technical expertise.
- Strong value‑proposition communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams.

- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).

- Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills under tight timelines.
