As a **Security Officer - Convenience Store** in **Santa Fe, NM**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. **What You'll Do**:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm,



problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor foot traffic, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards in accordance with post orders.
- Support opening and closing activities, assist with access control for restricted areas, and provide visible presence to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
