GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Ensure that the elements of the quality management system defined for the different manufacturing production areas are fulfilled, with the objective that processes are carried out as designed and products are produced according to specifications.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Professional degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality (Engineer level)
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing work teams and personnel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Leadership: Problem Solving, Area Projects, Continuous Improvement of Product and Process
- Communication: Regarding the performance of production areas, identified risks, and ongoing actions to mitigate those risks. Provide status reports, follow-up, and progress of different actions.
- Proactivity: Prevention of issues related to Health and Safety, Assigned Personnel, Product and Process.
- Analytical Skills: Problem solving, process evaluation, and strategy development with assigned personnel to maximize efficiency
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Active participation in various scenarios and requirements to help the organization with problem resolution, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- General Quality Knowledge:
Experience with Basic Quality Tools
Experience in problem-solving methodologies
Experience in PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA
Experience in system, product, and process audits
Experience developing Procedures, Work Instructions, Visual Aids, Formats, and Records
Experience using Minitab for statistical analysis
Knowledge of the ISO 9000:2015 standard
- Knowledge in drawing interpretation (GD&T;)
- Written and verbal Spanish
- Written and verbal English (80%)
- Competent computer skills in Microsoft software and SAP




- Availability to travel (Domestic and International)
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administration, supervision, training, and development of assigned personnel
- Management of Health and Safety department programs and guidelines
- Evaluation and validation before, during, and after new product introduction events
- Review, update of PFMEA, and validation of corrective actions according to RPN or AP values
- Definition of inspection plans according to product specifications
- Execution of process capability analyses (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk)
- Evaluation and analysis of the measurement system (MSA)
- Daily communication of area quality metrics and relevant information regarding quality issues
- Evaluation of ECNs and Product and/or Process Deviations
- Manage and execute the nonconforming material process (define, measure, identify, segregate, and dispose)
- Support SQE with the NCM process (define and measure issues)
- Determine and execute containment processes for nonconforming material (certification)
- Analyze and evaluate results from process audits
- Creation and assignment of PSP (Problem-Solving Process) requests to various departments
- Support areas in resolving internal and external (customer) problems
- Validation of corrective actions implemented (PSP)
- Continuous improvement through analysis and trends of quality issues and development of action plans with internal teams
- Development, review, and updating of Procedures, Visual Aids, Formats,



and Records
- Supervise the production cycle and perform periodic tests to detect potential failures
- GEMBA: Primary presence within processes for constant validation and evaluation of product and process
- Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the department supervisor
- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) requirements for the position related to ISO 9001:2015
- Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time
- Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions
- Comply with the safety rules determined for the position
