What you would be doing:
Ensure that the company's accounting records are captured correctly and in the corresponding fiscal period. The Senior Accountant will have a direct impact on our business group, responsible for: - Supporting month-end accounting closing activities and helping to ensure that all report data is correct. - Assisting in preparing supporting documentation for internal and external audits. - Examining monthly financial results and performing variance analysis compared to the plan, forecast, and prior periods. - Creating and automating reports with a high impact on organizational knowledge and decision-making. - Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the timely resolution of outstanding items. - Recording and analyzing financial transactions to determine the accuracy and completeness of entries. - Tracking cost trends and facilitating the understanding of departmental expenses. - Preparing and reviewing local and federal taxes and ensuring timely filing. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and pursue the efficiency of business processes through the Crane Business System. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,



Business Administration, or equivalent. - English Level: Advanced - Experience: 5 years of experience in the accounting field is desirable, preferably in the manufacturing industry. A thorough understanding of general finance and accounting principles is essential. - Desirable Skills: General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Excel, SAP Personal Attributes - Customer Service - Decision-Making and Results-Oriented - Teamwork and Diversity - Ethics and Transparency - Intellectual Capital - Job Knowledge/Technical Skills - Leadership - Confidence - CBS (Computer-Based Service) Additional Position Requirements: - Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Customer service, decision-making, results-oriented, teamwork, and diversity. - Self-directed, capable of working independently and completing projects without supervision. - Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced work environment. - Results-oriented and committed to meeting agreed-upon deadlines. - Committed to continuous improvement.
