This position is key to ensuring seamless production execution and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It is responsible for translating customer demand and business priorities into an executable production plan, balancing material availability, capacity, and supply constraints. Acting as a central coordination point between production, procurement, and cross-functional teams, the role drives schedule reliability, resolves operational and material challenges, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. This position has high visibility and a direct impact on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
**- What You Will Do**:
- Develop and maintain the production plan and build sequence based on customer requirements, business priorities, material availability, demand, and capacity.
- Manage production order scheduling and execution, ensuring on-time delivery and coordination of finished goods shipment.
- Serve as the primary communication focal point for internal stakeholders regarding production schedules, delivery updates, order changes, and demand fluctuations.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement and cross-functional teams to validate incoming materials, resolve supply issues, and ensure production continuity.
- Monitor production performance through MRP systems, maintaining data accuracy and adherence to production control policies.
- Support inventory management activities, including KPI tracking, cycle counts,
and analysis of excess and obsolete (E&O;) inventory.
- Compile and analyze production reports to identify performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead or support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for production, delivery, and inventory issues.
- Participate in product transfers, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in training and supporting team members on production control processes and systems.
**- Qualifications You Must Have**:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience as a production cell planner or in production scheduling roles using ERP or planning systems (e.g., SAP or similar logic-driven scheduling tools).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for reporting, analysis, and presentation of production data.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) to communicate effectively in a integral or cross-functional environment.
**- Qualifications We Preferred**:
- Experience developing, analyzing, and validating production schedules, including identification of critical paths and schedule risks.
- Proven ability to perform schedule analysis and optimize sequencing for efficiency and on-time delivery.
