IT Technical Project Manager – Contract Logistics IT
Main Summary
We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager to join our Contract Logistics IT team. In this role, you will lead IT projects end-to-end, ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions that support business needs. You will be responsible for managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality, while acting as a key link between business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Task and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage medium-scale IT projects with direct business impact and defined deadlines
- Own the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, execution, delivery, and closure
- Manage project budgets, track vigente spend, and proactively identify and mitigate cost risks
- Develop and maintain realistic project plans and ensure clear, consistent communication with stakeholders
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Escalate critical risks, decisions, and blockers to senior management and governance bodies when needed
- Ensure proper change management processes and obtain formal stakeholder sign‑off for deliverables
- Oversee quality reviews and ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards
- Coordinate Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches depending on project needs
- Build strong relationships with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and decision‑making
- Provide leadership to project teams and ensure successful delivery within agreed parameters
Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Knowledge of Contract Logistics business processes is highly desirable
- Understanding of system integration, enterprise applications, and data flows
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze and translate business and IT requirements into actionable plans
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Minimal Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management or managing business/IT requirements in complex environments
- Experience delivering IT projects involving cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Previous exposure to logistics, supply chain, or Contract Logistics environments is a strong plus
