Web Performance Engineer at BairesDev

As a Web Performance Engineer, you will optimize web applications for maximum speed and efficiency. You will act as the link between frontend development and user experience, ensuring that applications meet Core Web Vitals standards and provide a seamless, high-performance interface for users across various devices and networks.

What You'll Do

- Analyze and improve Core Web Vitals and other key performance metrics using tools like Lighthouse.
- Optimize the browser rendering pipeline to reduce layout shifts, painting time, and execution lag.
- Implement advanced asset optimization strategies, including code splitting and bundle size reduction.
- Configure and manage CDN and caching strategies to minimize network latency and round-trip times.




- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate performance-oriented best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor production environments to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or regressions.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in Web Performance Engineering, Frontend Development, or Software Engineering.
- Proven expertise in optimizing web applications for speed, including bundle size and rendering pipelines.
- Proficiency with performance profiling tools like Lighthouse and monitoring Core Web Vitals.
- Hands-on experience with CDN configurations and network-level optimizations.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
