Our retail client is seeking an experienced Workday Product Owner / Functional Lead to support an enterprise-wide Workday Expense implementation . Acting as the client-side functional lead, this consultant will work closely with a leading global consulting and professional services firm to drive a critical project currently in SIT and preparing for UAT, deployment, and a future integral rollout.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the client-side Product Owner for the Workday Expense implementation.
- Work closely with a leading Workday implementation partner and act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the implementation team.
- Lead activities across SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
- Review functional designs, configurations, testing results, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Manage backlog prioritization, issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and implementation risks.
- Coordinate with business, technical, QA, and project teams to support delivery and future global deployments.

Requirements

- Hands-on experience with Workday Expense implementations.
- Experience as a Product Owner, Functional Lead, Business Lead, or Solution Lead.




- Strong knowledge of Workday business processes and functional configuration.
- Experience working with Workday implementation partners.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, go-live, and stabilization activities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Must Haves

- Active Workday certification(s).
- Workday Financial Management and/or Workday Expense Certification preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Financials integrations .
- Experience working in Agile environments alongside Scrum Masters and technical teams.
- Retail industry experience is a plus.
