As the Sourcing and Supplier Management Specialist, you will manage supplier relationships as a primary point of contact for a selected portfolio of Driscoll ́s Strategic Suppliers, including performance tracking, reviews, and day-to-day management.You will also conduct oversight and management of strategies, performance, and development of large-scale products while supporting leadership in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
**Responsibilities**:**Strategic Supplier Management**- Serve as the main liaison between Driscoll's and key suppliers, resolving operational and commercial issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain collaborative, long-term relationships with strategic suppliers to drive continuous improvement and alignment.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using key metrics, financial analysis, and operational KPIs.
- Lead supplier performance reviews and implement action plans for operational improvements.
**Supply Assurance & Planning Alignment**:- Collaborate with Procurement and Planning teams to ensure timely and reliable supply of goods and services.
- Conduct long-term capacity planning with suppliers and ensure commitment to volume forecasts.
- Analyze and optimize the supplier network to enhance efficiency and resilience.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Risk Management**:- Work closely with internal teams (Procurement, Quality, Legal, Planning, etc.) to define technical specifications and procurement requirements.
- Support leadership in identifying supply chain risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to supplier strategy development and process improvements across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree required- Ability to work 100% onsite at the designated location.Some Fridays will be remote.
- 3 plus years of experience in supplier/vendor relationship management.
- 3 plus years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement.




- 1 year of experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is required- Experience with Excel Pivot tables.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)- Able to travel up to 30% of the time, including domestic and international travel- Driver License required and able to drive within Mexico.
- Visa to travel to USA required.No relocation benefit provided.This role is onsite in Guadalajara, Mexico.
