The CCL Technical Manager leads the technical development and the industrialization of the vehicle.
**Responsibilities include**:Lead the Technical Design Team through the Sourcing ProcessCreate management and communication processes to ensure Sourcing and Tool Kick Off achieve milestones.Manage all Technical content and Optimization of complexityResponsible to deliver commonality commitments at the program levelLead the Technical Integration of features with the cross functional teams; including PFDI, vehicle Sciences (NVH and Durability)- confirming functional objectives are met within the contracted allowanceFacilitate technical escalation of part design with other projects, modules, vehicle platforms and advanced engineeringLead the technical decision process including facilitation of meeting forums and cadence (decision meeting and CN/IAA meeting)Manage technical design verification and validation including DV/PV planning, execution, tacking,
and executive reporting.Co-lead Weight and Cost Optimization with the Planning and Cost Managers.Coordinate project activities with the Manufacturing Assembly Team and production plant.Responsible for vehicle build issue management and resolution**Basic Qualifications**:Bachelor of Science in ME or related engineering degree from an ABET accredited universityMinimum 8 years of automotive development experienceExcellent communication and program management skillsAbility to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation conciselyAbility to make quick decisions using sound engineering logicWell-developed problem-solving skillsAbility to define the engineering logic behind system packaging layout solutions in the context of the vehicle/platformWork effectively and manage non-direct reports across multiple unique disciplinesMust be a highly motivated, detail oriented, and a self-directed process thinkerStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong written and presentation skillsAbility to interface with all levels of managementFamiliarity with automotive systems, components, and vehicle testing/validation processes**Preferred Qualifications**:Master of Science in Engineering Science/physics background with fundamental knowledge of vehicle system interaction / integration Working knowledge of DFSS
